A Bit about the Co-Author

Mary Yamin-Garone hails from upstate New York. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Journalism from the State University of New York at Albany. 


Self-employed for 23 years, Mary is an award-winning writer and editor and the President and CEO of The Ys One Writing Service. She also helps coaches, speakers, individuals and entrepreneurs turn their message into a book that increases their income and positions them as an authority in their field.


In her 35 years as a professional writer and editor, she’s seen every aspect of the writing world as the featured guest writing expert on a weekly radio talk show; the recipient of numerous writing and editing awards and accolades; and as the coach/editor for several best-selling books. One of her proudest moments was when she received the Communication 2002 APEX Award for Publication Excellence for Magazine and Newspaper Writing for her work following the September 11th terrorist attacks.

As a writer, editor and coach, it is her mission to continue helping others share their message with the world, improve lives and make an impact with their words.
